Rutaceae

The Crow's Ash is a medium tree growing to 30m. It is a species that was much sought after for it's durable timber. 
Leaves: Leaves are clustered towards the ends of the branches. They are aromatic when crushed.
Flowers: Flowers are white and form in branched panicles. The tree flowers from September to February.
Fruit: The fruit is a woody, prickly capsule which opens into five segments. The woody seedpods are often used in floral arrangements. Fruit is ripe from April to September and the seeds released are winged. 


Found in dry rainforest. It is also found as a remnant species in cleared scrubby areas.
