The Crow's Ash is a medium tree growing to 30m. It is a species that was much sought after for it's durable timber. Leaves: Leaves are clustered towards the ends of the branches. They are aromatic when crushed. Flowers: Flowers are white and form in branched panicles. The tree flowers from September to February. Fruit: The fruit is a woody, prickly capsule which opens into five segments. The woody seedpods are often used in floral arrangements. Fruit is ripe from April to September and the seeds released are winged.
