Dawsoniaceae 

Giant Moss resembles pure stands of minature pine trees.  Although called Giant Moss, this species only grows from 10cm to 50 cm in height; but it is one of the largest in the world.

Giant Moss prefers moist shady areas. 


This species will inhabit areas along the East Coast of Australia, including Tasmania and also New Zealand.
