A tall, handsome tree that grows
up to 50
m in height. At the base of the
trunk of the
yellow carabeen is found plank-buttresses.
Leaves:
Light
green above and below on
the blade of the leaf. Up to 5 cm
in length.
Flowers:
White
flowers that can be seen
from September to November.
Fruit:
A
prickly, yellowish/brown capsule
that spits into two halves.
Found mostly in subtropical rainforest.
