Size:   Length - 1.2m
Identification: Moderately slender snake with colour varying with location. The common eastern Australian form is an olive-green, dull green to blue-green ground colouring and usually yellow on the belly.
Call/Song:


  From Kimberly region (WA) to Cape York and Torres Straight Islands (Qld), extending down east coast to south-eastern NSW.

Habitat:Wide variety: Woodlands to vine forests, wet and dry sclerophyll forests and rainforests.


Feeding:  Feed largely on frogs, which are located by the snakes keen eyesight. Lizards are also eaten.

Breeding/Nesting:   Egglayers which produce 5-12 elongated eggs per clutch.

Movement:  Active by day, dwelling predominantly in trees or shrubs.
