Size:
Length - females 70mm, males 45mm.
Identification: A light grey to brown
sharp-snouted frog with a smooth back and some irregular blotches. The
groin is yellow blotched with black hind surface of thighs with black and
yellow pattern. Fingers and toes are long. Breeding males are a bright
lemon-yellow.
Call/Song: The mating call is a low,
whirring call which is nearly inaudible.

Habitat:
The Stony Creek Frog is found in a variety of habitats in and around streams
that have stony beds.
Feeding:
Breeding/Nesting: Eggs are laid in
a solid gelatinous mass on the bottom of pools or in slow moving water..
The tadpoles are dark with a low tail fin.
